Our Check-In Policy

Once a month ALL members are required to check-in to show that they would still like to keep their account with Astral. Failure to check-in on ANY particular month will result in the deletion of your account and ALL items you would be selling at that time. There are no refunds of any kind if your account is deleted because of failing to check-in.

Checking in can easily be done by just logging into your Astral Account and clicking on the link that says "check-in". We reset the check-in process on the first day of each month and the system is designed to remove ANY account that has not check-in for the previous month.

Why the Check-in?

Astral supplies a very inexpensive way for people to sell their items online. Once a member advertises an item, it is there for as long as it takes to sell it. Sometimes a person might have sold the item elsewhere and never removes the item from their Online Garage Sale which causes valuable space being taken away from other sellers, whom have similar items to sell.

By adding the check-in policy, each member is required to check-in once a month if they would like to keep their account open with Astral. This will ensure that the items they are selling are still available and it also ensures the Astral community that their fellow members are real people and not just robots or spiders trying to disrupt our community.

QUESTIONS

Q. I am currently selling items in the OGS, if i fail to check-in one month what happens to my items?
A. If any member fails to check-in on any given month, their account with Astral will be removed automatically. If that member has items in the OGS, those items will be removed also. There are NO refunds on ANY slot or plan purchased.

Q. What happens if I am a new registrant on the site?
A. When a new member registers to Astral, they are automatically checked in for that month. There are messages throughout their registration process, along with an email letting them know about the check-in process. Failure to check-in on the following month will result in the removal of that account.

Q. How will I know if I am checked-in for any given month?
A. Once you login to your Astral Account, there will be a message towards the top of the page which will let you know if you have checked-in or not for that month It will also show you how to check-in if you have not.

Q. I currently have an account on the Astral Forum which I enjoy playing the games, what happens to my account on the forum?
A. The check-in policy will only affect this site. The Astral Forum is on another site and will not be affected by the check-in in any way. You can have an account on the Astral Forum without having an account here.
