With all the problems that face trusted people of the internet, websites must take every step possible to insure their members safety. We have now added a complaint form to the Astral community for all buyers, sellers, and other members and visiters of Astral to fill out when they have a complaint about one of our members.

Once we receive a complaint, we will investigate it fully, by getting all the details from both sides before we take any action

If it is found that a memer has violated our family policy, their account will be deleted without any refunds issued (as per our policy and agreement). There are no warnings of any kind when it comes to violating the policy of this community.

Being courteous to other members and talking out any problems you may have, is always a good foundation for an excellent online community.

Newest item in the Online Garage Sale

House Share - Northern California on the Coast, close to ocean

We're looking for someone to share our home with. Master bedroom with private bathroom and walk in closet; hookups for washer/electric dryer but we don't have those appliances as of yet; plenty of storage on a fully fenced/gated acre with gardens in front and back.

Possibility of sharing our organic produce from our garden, fresh eggs from our free range organic chickens, later on this year and after the possibility of free delicious honey harvested right in our back yard.

We're also hoping that relatively soon we may make a switch from PGE to wind turbine for electricity, and have a rain harvesting situation going on for the garden to conserve. Very ecologically conscious yet still frugal family of 4 will be sharing the house with you, and we do have a dog already (a friendly outside golden retriever) We're open to house sharing with a single parent w/ 1 or 2 kids, a single person, or a couple (so long as you're ok with children) Ready for you to move in immediately!

We're looking for $600 a month for the room, this includes all utilities. Access to our WIFI is available for an extra $15 a month. We're looking for someone to move in as soon as possible, so we can make our rent for April (we're struggling after this payment -- our last roommate left us two days before the end of the month with no notice!)

I never can seem to add pictures to the AE site, but I do have some available of the outside and inside of the house if you're interested. Thanks so much for your consideration!

Also, a member asked if a judge could enter their dog into the contest and at the same time vote for them. The answer is yes they can. The only people who cannot vote for their dog is one of the admins or owners of Astral.

This is a special section just for the members. Each day a member can post news about something they saw on the internet, a happy birthday to someone, anniversary, to let everyone know about a new pet they got, or even to share a funny joke with all of us.
Once a member posts a story, they can also add a picture so it brings their story to life. To top that off, other members can post their comment to the story for that day. I am the parent to two wonderful five year old twins. Ryan and Amber. They couldn't be any different from each other. Amber is very talkative, friendly, and super smart. She truly lives life to the fullest. Ryan, he is a mommy's boy (and I LOVE IT) he is shy, reserved, but also smart. I am multi-racial and Ryan and Amber's father is white. So, suffice it to say they have a light complexion and Ryan was born with blonde hair and blue eyes. Amber has brown hair and brown eyes. Usually people stare and make comments (not always nice ones) and this has rubbed off on my children while at school.

One day Ryan came home and said "Mommy, *Keith asked me a lot of questions today." I replied "like what baby?" Ryan proceeded to say " Keith asked me what color my hair was." and I said "and what did you tell him?" Ryan said "I told him my hair was brown. But then he asked me what color my eyes are and I told him blue. After that, he wanted to know what color my skin was." I was almost scared to ask, but I said, and what did you say to Keith then Ryan?" and with a straight face and said very 'matter-of-factly' Ryan said "I told him my skin color was regular." My kids are wonderful!

mr_astral~ It's sad to say Karen, but a lot of people can only think what society leads them to believe. I remember when you and talked about this and some people would ask you if you were their nanny. They had a few options to say to you, but you noticed how they just chose that one?

They could have said "and who are these lovely kids?" OR "Awwww, they are just too cute". But their mentality only allows them to think one way. In the business world, these people are considered "THE HERD", which means, they say and do what is taught to them. Here is a good example:

What is the VERY first thing that comes to mind when I ask you this question: What color is Santa Claus? THINK FAST WITH A QUICK RESPONSE! MOST PEOPLE WILL ANSWER "WHITE". But people who think, lets say, "out the box", would say "Santa Clause is the color of the person giving the gift".

I can't say don't let it bother you, because I know it will, but I can say when you hear it, just realize you're talking to a part of "THE HERD", so take out your mental prod, and poke them along their way, and too make it fun, make a low "BUZZ" sound when you do it LOL.

mainepitbull~ LadyKay that is so sweet!! It amazes me at the things that my four year old says, they are so innocent, untrained to social beliefs and it truly amazes me to hear some of the unrehearsed thoughts of a youngster!
